প্রভু মোর, এ প্রভাতে জেগেছিল যবে,
কমল কেশরীবাসে অমৃত আকাশে,
আগর চন্দন ধুমে বনমালা ভূমি,
মাতিছে মঙ্গল ধ্বনি মন্দির আভাসে।

মোহন মূর্তি তব মুখরিত ভুমে,
পদ্মনাভ তুমি কৃষ্ণ, দ্বারকার পতি
সুদর্শন সনে, ভাব পূণ্ডরিক রাজে
ভারতের ভাবাধীশ অর্জুন - সারথী।

উদিছে ঊষার আভা জাগে নবযুগ
পাপ রাশি ছিল যত চূর্ণ করিবারে।
শান্তির নির্মল শশী মধু বার্তা সম
জন্মেছ আর্যাবর্তে আর্তরে উদ্ধারে।

কলিঙ্গ, বঙ্গ কিবা পাঞ্চাল গান্ধার
কুরু কিবা সৌরাষ্ট্র সব ভূমি জানে,
তোমার মহিমা আর উদ্যম প্রতাপে
ভব সংসার তোমে কৃষ্ণ নামে মানে।

English Translation

Krishna

O Lord, when dawn did wake thy form,
Lotus-scented breath made heaven warm.
Agarwood and sandal swayed,
As hymns in temple echoes played.

Thy mohan visage graced the earth,
Padmanabha—Krishna, king of worth.
With Sudarshan’s blazing flight,
Arjuna’s charioteer in righteous might.

The dawn arose, a new age bright,
To shatter sin with truth’s pure light.
Like moon serene with nectar’s balm,
Thou rose to heal the world from harm.

Kalinga, Banga, Panchal’s land,
Kurukshetra, Saurashtra stand—
All know thy glory’s vast expanse,
Krishna, whom the cosmos grants.
